The Fury of the Gods actress lounged on a repose chair on the white sands while dressed in a timeless black one-piece swimsսit with a lace up pattern. She wore a straightforward braid over her well-known silver hair and swept it to one side.
She was enjoying the day while donning a set of fashionable reading glasses and at one point even checking her smartphone. The Winchester actor was also seen conversing with a resort employee in white.
The Red actress is unquestionably a beauty symbol, yet she freely admits that she has second thoughts about putting too much emphasis on aesthetics. When she found out she would be the cover model for PEOPLE’s 2022 Beautiful issue, she said,
“Don’t get me wrong, I adore beauty, and I love looking at beautiful things. But because it’s connected to the beauty industry, I dislike the word beauty. Because I believe the vast majority of us who are not attractive are excluded by makeup, skincare, and all the other stuff.
She continued by recognising the influence of physical attractiveness while also emphasising other, equally significant human qualities.
Male or female, it is a true pleasure to look at the amazingly attractive people in the world. A wonder to behold are beautiful people, she told the publication. But the majority of us are not attractive.
Other things that we have are just as strong as beauty. And I want to see us honour those achievements. I adore the word “swagger” because I believe it to signify that I am self-assured, outgoing, and appreciative of my surroundings.
I believe the “beauty industry” should actually be known as the “swagger industry.” People are getting swagger from us.
